Army Wives on Lifetime is one of my favorite television series. I became hooked after seeing season one on DVD, and I have been a fan ever since. Season four is well underway, airing Sunday nights at 10pm on Lifetime, and the next all-new episode is this Sunday night, May 2nd.

Army Wives 4.04 is titled Be All You Can Be, and we get deeper into the marital problems one of the Army wives. Pam will have to choose her life on base, or she will have to leave it all behind. The series follows a group of wives and one husband as they deal with life on an army base. Their lives and the challenges they have faced have made for good television over the last few years for me.

The full description of the episode from Lifetime is as follows: While visiting a college campus with Emmalin, Claudia Joy runs into and old friend and begins to think about her own future. Roland prepares for Sara Elizabeth’s first birthday which he feels needs to be perfect for Joan, who will be watching the party by video chat. Pamela seeks information on how her life would be affected if she and Chase got a divorce. Denise gets a late night call of suspected domestic abuse.

Last month we delved into the rock stylings of FLOW, and the songs they did for hit shows like Naruto, Eureka Seven and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. This month we are jumping into one of my personal favorite bands: Home Made Kazoku!

Home Made Kazoku (HMK) originated when founder DJ U-Ichi was inspired to start deejaying after seeing performing hip hop dance crews, the urban-American film classic “Juice” and watching DJs tear it up on the ones and twos at local clubs. Needing MCs to complement his music, Micro, who was raised in Kentucky, and Kuro, who was born in Chicago, would join onboard rounding out what will become HMK. Although members would change and music styles would evolve over time, these three would continue on their goal to drop a chart-topping #1 hit.

For many North American anime fans, one of the staples of our childhood was Dragonball Z. Love it or hate it, Dragonball was one of the pioneers of anime in America and is one of the few series that non-anime fans might have heard of. I won’t bore you with every single plot detail or the sheer number of fights, but what is important about DBZ in this case is that it was under the control of two different dubbing companies during its run in the US: the Ocean Group and later Funimation. It was the Ocean Group’s version of the series that aired for the first 70 episodes or so, and it is from this version that the infamous line will appear.

Watch A True Hero

Many animated, or comic-based stories revolve around the protagonist - a hero blessed with super powers - doing good for all mankind, in an effort to make the world a better place. Take your pick amongst the thousands of like characters in the Marvel, DC and anime universes, and you'll see that the character set-up is all pretty much the same.

So, on the surface, it appears as if Shugo Chara follows this similar pattern of storytelling. Whereas most characters have a guardian angel or two, our protagonist, Amu, is one of the lucky few to have FOUR guardian angels! That's right a hero blessed with more powers than other. However, before you start labeling Amu as your typical hero and start pigeonholing the Shugo Chara series, there is a subtle, yet important, difference that makes Amu different from the any other hero.

Naruto Shippuden #127, #128 Now Available!

Hey guys!
I know it wasn’t the same last week since we were on a Naruto Shippuden break but it’s back this week, times two! Not only do we get our usual dose of Naruto Shippuden but we get an extra episode to make up for last week! That’s ONE whole hour of fun!

Here’s a quick glimpse of what’s in store:

Episode 127 – “During the reign of the Second Hokage, the young Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade are assigned to Hiruzen Sarutobi’s platoon as Genins. Fascinated by Sarutobi’s summoning jutsu, Jiraiya immerses himself in mastering the transportation technique. While training, Jiraiya accidentally transports himself to Mount Myoboku, opening the path to fulfill his destiny.”

Episode 128 – “Jiraiya’s journey to seek out a student is postponed due to the outbreak of the Third Great Ninja War. Jiraiya joins Tsunade and Orochimaru to battle the Village Hidden in the Rain. Following the battle, the three ninjas are named the “Legendary Sannin,” a title given to them by the enemy Hanzo of the Great Salamander himself.”

Big Brother 11: And the Winner Is

After a summer of cookie dough-eating, dragonfly-dodging, banana suit-wearing and microphone-destroying fun, America's biggest guilty pleasure reality show has crowned a new winner.
In the season finale of Big Brother 11, Southern belle underdog Jordan defeated Kevin to win the final head of household competition to ensure a spot in the finals. Jordan then evicted Kevin, leaving only herself and Natalie to face the jury of evicted houseguests. (Viewers also got to vote as the would-be seventh juror, Chima, was expelled from the game earlier in the season for breaking production rules.)
After deliberating, the jury chose Jordan as the winner by a vote of 5-2. She said she planned to use the $500,000 grand prize to put a down payment on a house for her mother and brother, give money to her cousins for their college fund and buy herself a new car. Runner-up Natalie won $50,000.

Swift, Beyoncé and Others Take Home Moonmen

Beyonce, Eminem, Britney Spears and Taylor Swift all won Moonmen at Sunday's 2009 MTV Video Music Awards — the latter much to the chagrin of Kanye West. But what's an award show without some controversy from the rapper?

Swift, the first winner of the night for Best Female Video for "You Belong with Me," was abruptly interrupted during her acceptance speech by West, who grabbed the microphone from her to declare that "Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!"

Beyonce looked horrified as the audience booed West and Swift was ushered offstage. The singer got her moment nearly two hours later though, when Beyonce invited her onstage after winning Video of the Year for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)."

West, who was booed whenever his named was mentioned after the incident, lost all three of his nominations. He later took to his blog to apologize to Swift.

"I'm sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom. I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would've said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she's in the bleachers! I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment!" West wrote.

"Beyonce's video was the best of this decade!!!! I'm sorry to my fans if I let you guys down!!!! I'm sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw. Welcome to the real world!!!! Robert Pattinson Fans: Are you male or female?

It seems that its not just women who find Robert Pattinson interesting. According to Read Twilight, Robert said that it is not just women who ask for his autograph, men have been too.


Its reported that Robert is currently in Canada, filming Eclipse the third Twilight movie. According to a Twilight insider, Robert hardly leaves his hotel unless he is needed on set because of the paparazzi.
Robert Pattinson is a British actor who hit the limelight after playing vampire Edward Cullen in the hit movie Twilight.

Big Brother 11: Interview with Jeff Schroeder

Many “Big Brother 11” fans were left disappointed this week, after Jeff got evicted from the house. And according to buddytv.com, he blames no-one but himself for his eviction, saying it is because he didn’t win the last Power of Veto competition.

Whist in a recent interview, Jeff said that he is still unsure, if he will be taking Jordan with him on his trip to Hawaii that he won. Although he did admit, that the most enjoyable experience in the house was meeting Jordan, with the Coup D’Etat coming second.

And when Jeff was asked, who he would hope to maintain a relationship with outside the house, his obvious answer was Jordan, but says if any of the other houseguests want to be friends with him, then he will be friends with them also.
