The programs are scheduled for Wednesday April 15 at Bethany United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. and Thursday, April 16, at The Outer Banks Music Showcase in Kitty Hawk at 7:30 p.m.
Hamilton has celebrated more than 50 years in the music industry. He has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry for more than 45 years and has had hit records on the pop, country and gospel charts. His country career was defined when he hit number one with "Abilene." Other major hits include "Early Morning Rain," "Break My Mind," and the pop hit, "A Rose and A Baby Ruth."
